Older skiers will be introduced to techniques specific to both skate and classic skiing techniques through games, technique specific drills, and individual coaching.
All skiers should be prepared to ski at 4pm in an effort to maximize our on-snow time
Recommended Abilities: Prior ski experience is necessary and an interest in competitive skiing and skate skiing is helpful.
Equipment: Tuesday skiers will need to have both Skate and Classic ski equipment, Thursday skiers can use either Classic or Skate. For those who do not own ski equipment, ski equipment available for seasonal lease on a first-come first-serve basis (limited availability). Leased ski equipment will remain at Dewey Mountain Recreation Center unless signed out by user for off premises use. Cost for ski equipment lease for the season is $20.00
